Programming, master planning and schematic design of regional headquarters of an international charity organization for the relief and support of Christian minorities in Middle East and vicinity. The seminar center includes -- more --offices, meeting rooms, a library, study rooms, residential units, communal spaces and a chapel.
The design is inspired by the Mediterranean architectural prototypes. The complex is organized around a sequence of three courtyards along the main axis of the elongated plot. The chapel on the upper corner, the meeting rooms and the senior residences shape the “spiritual” courtyard. The entry, the library and the restaurant are located around the “main court”. The study rooms are arranged around the “sea court” at the end of the plot on the coastline.
