The building is a result of radical remodeling of an existing 3 storey structure to house a bank branch's operations (transactions in ground floor, administrative offices on the first and private banking in the top floor)-- more --.
The designer`s intention was to create a calm and serious building presence that would merge into the neighborhood scale and anchor strongly the corner of the city block, while offering a distinct image to the fast moving Kifisias Avenue. The building shell took the form of a cohesive geometric solid volume clad with sandstone, crowned with a linear-floating top floor structure.
